LHEP embedding has an edge over ILM peeling alone for lamellar macular holes

Patients who underwent PPV with lamellar hole–associated epiretinal proliferation embedding and conventional internal limiting membrane peeling showed better acuity and anatomic outcomes for lamellar macular holes than those who had PPV with ILM only.
