Michael J. Caruso, OD

Dr. Michael J. Caruso performs complete eye examinations as well as postoperative and follow up care.

Dr. Caruso completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts graduating in 2018 as a Presidential Scholar. Dr. Caruso went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 2018 with clinical honors. He completed training at various externships including Boston Medical Center, Providence VA Medical Center, South End Community Health Center, and Eye Centers of South Florida.

After completing his training, Dr. Caruso moved to the capital region where he has been working as a primary care optometrist for several years. He provides comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases to patients of all ages. His specialty lies in hard to fit contact lenses including scleral contacts for patients with irregular or post-surgical corneas.
