Week in review: Vascular risks post-RAO, smoking increases microvascular dropout, new Vabysmo indication

Patients have an increased chance of heart attack or stroke after having a retinal artery occlusion (RAO), smoking leads to greater choroidal microvasculature dropout in patients with glaucoma, and Vabysmo is now approved in the US for macular edema following retinal vein occlusion (RVO).
